The Ideal Date

The ideal date for someone might not be the ideal date for someone else. Choosing the ideal date depends on what both individuals like to do or not do. If he is an outdoors man and she hates being in the sun than the ideal date for this couple would probably not be a picnic at the beach. If you don’t already know a little bit about your dates likes and dislikes the ideal date is probably something simple and easy that doesn’t involve anything in the least bit extreme.

Although you might be a big fan of boats and the ideal date for you would be getting out on the water, this date might sink if your date dislikes boats or has a horrible fear of drowning. The same thing goes when choosing a restaurant, make sure it’s the type of place that serves a variety of foods. It will be anything but the ideal date if your date can’t find anything on the menu they like to eat and this will only end up making you both feel uncomfortable.

The best chance you have at figuring out what will be the ideal date is to first ask your date beforehand what he or she would like to do, this way you can both decide what is most appropriate. However, as we all know this sometimes might not be an option for whatever reason. In these cases your ideal date plan will be a simple affair like a movie and perhaps an everyday but not too fancy restaurant but probably not fast food.

If you and your date are both the type of people who prefer to spend time at the library instead of abseiling you might both find the ideal date inside a coffee shop book store where it’s quite peaceful and allows you to have a decent conversation.

The ideal date for the adventurous types might be a trip into the country, a bushwalk up the hill and a picnic on top. As great as this might seem to some people it would certainly be best left until at least after the first date as this may take a lot of your time and wouldn’t be much fun if you didn’t really hit it off.

For a couple of adrenaline junkies the ideal date might be to head to the air strip and organize a couple of tandem skydives. Once again this may not be the ideal first date but than again it would certainly be a first date to remember.

For those who met online the ideal date might be a trip to the video arcade or a trip to a convention with a coffee afterwards and a chance to have a live chat instead of a cyber chat.

If you both drive imported European sports cars and wear designer clothes your ideal date would probably be in a first class restaurant sipping on Bordeaux or a trip to the opera but then again even if you are both rolling in cash this might not be for everyone.

There really is no ideal date that everyone would surely enjoy since it all depends on the two individuals involved. So when choosing a date with someone you are not all that familiar with keep it simple in the beginning and if you hit it off you can organize the ideal date in the future.
