Attracting People to Your Website

One of the most widely asked questions in the blogger and website publishing community is how to attract people to your website. Attracting people to your website takes time especially if your website is only new but with patience and by following a few of the basic website and traffic building guidelines you can attract people to your website and keep them coming back if you offer them what they want.

What most people want when they are looking for information on the internet is the same thing they want when they go shopping, good quality at the best price. One of the best ways to attract people to your website is by giving them good quality content that is original and give it to them for free. If you are looking to attract traffic and derive most of your income from revenue streams like Google Adsense which is what is on this site you have to give them a reason to come back again and again and they will do that if they like your style of writing and you offer them information that either helps them or they enjoy reading. Writing takes time and unless you work full time on your website or websites you may only be able to write new and original content infrequently but as long as it’s of good quality you will build a readership base that will expand over time.

While in the process of attracting people to your website keep in mind while you are writing your new and original content that you add in keywords through your written content. For example the key words in this article are the same as the heading of the article, attracting people to your website. You need to add these key words through the content so the search engine crawlers that sweep your sites content will see the repetition of key words or keywords phrases and direct the appropriate traffic to your website. If you rarely update your content the search engine crawlers may rarely visit your website as it recognizes you hardly ever add new content.

Make sure all your important web pages are in HTML format. This is vital in relation to attracting people to your website since the web page crawlers only look for HTML source code. If your pages are not in HTML format they are practically invisible to the crawlers and will therefore be invisible to everyone else.
